My Tiguan's weird transmission shudder – anyone else had this?
Idézet tőle: Guest ekkor: 2026-08-27, 05:26I've had my 2019 Tiguan for about 3 years now and it's been pretty much flawless until a couple of weeks ago when I started noticing this strange shudder when pulling away from a stop. It’s not a massive jolt, more like a hesitation that you only really feel if you're paying attention. I took it to one general garage and they said they couldn't find any fault codes, which was super frustrating because I know it's not just in my head. A friend of mine with a Golf R mentioned he had similar symptoms and it turned out to be a DSG mechatronics issue that needed a specialist to diagnose properly. Anyway, after searching around and reading a bunch of reviews online, I decided to take it to the Exclusive Volkswagen service centre for drivers in Al Quoz 3 and they identified the problem almost immediately. Apparently, the transmission fluid was slightly low and there was some adaptation value that needed resetting, and it's been smooth as silk since. It's such a relief to find a place that actually knows these cars inside out rather than just guessing. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is chasing a ghost with their transmission, it's definitely worth finding a specialist who knows the specific quirks of the VW DSG gearbox.
